Why Bay Area Cars Are Different
From salt-air corrosion to EV complexity to the nation's most aggressive stop-and-go commutes, Bay Area vehicles have a unique set of wear patterns. Our mechanics know every one of them.

No Parking Garage? No Problem.
Street parking on Mission, Haight, or in SoMa — we come to where your car actually is. Our mechanics carry battery-powered tools and don't need shore power, making tight San Francisco parking situations no obstacle.
#1
EV adoption state in the US
Bay Area Is EV Country
California is the nation's leading EV market — Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Polestar, and every German EV brand are common on Bay Area roads. Our mechanics handle EV auxiliary systems, 12V battery issues, and ADAS calibrations that shops often can't.
68 hrs
Average commuter time lost per year
Stop-and-Go Traffic Destroys Brakes
The 101, 280, and Bay Bridge backups create repetitive high-frequency braking cycles that are far harder on brake pads and rotors than highway driving. SF-area drivers often need brake service 30% earlier than national averages.
Bay air
Accelerates corrosion by 3–5×
Salt Air Corrodes Undercarriage
Living near the Bay or Ocean means constant salt-air exposure to brake calipers, rotors, and suspension hardware. We see heavily corroded calipers and seized slide pins on cars parked near the waterfront regularly. Catch it early before it becomes a safety issue.

Average savings vs. Bay Area shops
Bay Area Shop Rates Are Brutal
SF-area independent shops charge $150–$220/hr. Dealerships are higher. Our flat-rate mobile pricing includes parts, labor, and travel — most Bay Area customers save 25–40% vs. what a local shop would quote. And you don't lose your car for the day.

San Francisco & Bay Area FAQs
Do you service Tesla and other EVs in the Bay Area?
Yes. The Bay Area is our most EV-heavy market. We service Tesla Model 3, Y, S, and X for 12V battery, HVAC, suspension, and general maintenance. We also service Rivian R1S/R1T 12V systems, Polestar, Lucid, and all other EVs for non-high-voltage work. We don't perform high-voltage pack repairs — those require manufacturer certified facilities.
Can you work at my tech campus or office in the South Bay?
Absolutely. Corporate campus parking lots and office parks in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, and San Jose are some of our most frequent service locations. We're fully insured and can coordinate with facility security if needed.
How do you handle SF's tight street parking?
We're experienced with San Francisco street service. Our mechanics arrive in service vans with all tools and parts onboard. We typically only need enough space to open the hood and work alongside the car — standard parking space width is sufficient for most services.
Do you cover Marin County and the North Bay?
Our primary Bay Area coverage is within 50 miles of downtown SF, which includes much of Marin County (Mill Valley, Corte Madera, San Rafael, Novato). Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific address.
What's different about brake service in San Francisco vs. other cities?
SF's stop-and-go traffic on hills (particularly on California St, Market St, and Bay Bridge approaches) creates thermal cycling that glazes pads and warps rotors more aggressively than other cities. We also see significant salt corrosion on calipers from cars parked near the Embarcadero and Bay. We check for both on every brake service.
I have a high-end European car. Can you handle it?
Yes. Peninsula and Pacific Heights have some of the highest concentrations of BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, and Maserati ownership in the US. Our European-certified mechanics carry brand-specific scan tools (ISTA for BMW, XENTRY for Mercedes, ODIS for Audi/VW) and brand-spec parts. We don't substitute generic parts on European vehicles.
